En recherche d'emploi sur Montréal, j'ai passé un test / entretien la semaine dernière et une question était de rédiger un paragraphe en anglais sur un sujet au choix parmi 5 et j'ai choisi tout naturellement "Why I like gaming as a hobby". Voici de mémoire ce que j'avais noté et ma déclaration d'amour pour le jeu vidéo :
It has been 20 years since I firts played Tetris on my mom's Game Boy. I never quitted since then. I love gaming, it enables to escape in different worlds. Sometimes realistic ones like in Medal of Honor, and sometimes not like in Bastion. I feel more like acting compared to a movie. I feel my choices are really taken into consideration as I actually do them as I am the character. For example last week: I saved the world from a dangerous terrorist in Modern Warfare 3, I heard the thoughts and monologues of Julian in Dinner Date, I won the Euro Touring Car Championship in Race Driver GRID, I talked to some demons in Persona 2 and finally I explored people's minds in Psychonauts. Only gaming allows me to do so many things that quick and it feels fantastic.
